Michaele ~ Artist in Glass & Clay is a working studio & fine gallery located at Studio M-217 Middle St., New Bern, NC. Custom Stained Glass Creations are the primary function of this very unique gallery/studio in the heart of Downtown New Bern. Michaelé Rose also creates fine sculptures from the finest Porcelain Clays incorporating 32K gold leaf in many of her creations. When you walk in the door you will be experiencing the latest creations of Michaelé and a few select fine artists. As you wander through the gallery you may also see Michaelé working in the back on a custom Stained Glass commission or creating an original sculpture in clay. Michaelé did a 3 year apprenticeship under the tutelage of Al Chalmers Beck in Florida learning the art of Stained Glass and has been working as a stained glass artist for over 20 years. Michaele also received her BFA in Ceramics at East Carolina University and has been working with clay for the last 15 years. Today, Michaelé finds a balance between Glass & Clay creating a space where creativity is the driving force.
